D3 Now Authorized Provider of Autodesk Moldflow Products

November 23, 2009

SPRINGFIELD, MO - November 23, 2009 – D3 TECHNOLOGIES, lean engineering specialists for the manufacturing industry, is proud to announce that they are now part of a select group of resellers authorized to provide the Autodesk Moldflow suite of products. Autodesk Moldflow products, part of the Autodesk solution for Digital Prototyping, provide a wide range of simulation tools to validate and optimize plastic part and injection mold designs as well as the plastics injection molding process.

The Autodesk Moldflow products include Autodesk Moldflow Adviser and Autodesk Insight software.

Autodesk Moldflow Adviser simplifies plastics injection molding simulation by guiding designers through analysis setup and results interpretation, helping users improve the manufacturability and quality of part and mold designs and avoid potential downstream delays and cost overruns.

Autodesk Moldflow Insight provides a complete set of advanced plastics engineering simulation tools to validate and optimize plastic parts, injection molds, and the injection molding process. It allows users to simulate the filling and packing phases of the injection molding process to better predict the flow behavior of plastic melts and achieve higher quality manufacturing.

In addition to providing the software, D3 will also offer training, support, and customization for all Autodesk Moldflow products.

“As a reseller focused strictly on manufacturing, the addition of Autodesk Moldflow products to our portfolio was a natural and important progression for D3. It’s our objective to increase the productivity and reduce costs for our partners and clients through Autodesk Digital Prototyping. For our customers in the plastics industry, the Autodesk Moldflow products are an important part of that process,” adds Kevin Schlack, D3’s President.
