Autodesk Fusion 360 – Summer Blockbuster Update

What?  You haven’t heard yet?!  Have you been living under a rock or something? Fusion 360’s last major update hit over 2 weeks ago, and I’m still excited about it! Obviously, the biggest story here, SHEET METAL!  That’s right, Autodesk surprised everybody by jumping from the limited beta straight to the full release of Sheet Metal in Fusion 360.  You can start using it today, and you don’t even have to opt in to a public beta in your preferences.  No, this is the full, official release.  You’ve probably heard about the previous sheet metal beta befor…

Autodesk Fusion 360 - Marking Menu (Level 2)

You’ve seen the marking menu before…  but have you seen this?!!  [queue marking menu level 2 gif]   That’s right, Fusion 360 has sub-level marking menus.  Very nice!  Right now, you’ll mainly find this tool in the sketching environment.  Once you’re editing a sketch you’ll see it. If you don’t know exactly how to use this thing, it can seem a bit awkward.  I’ve seen people skip the marking menu completely for sketching commands, because they thought it took to many clicks or extra time spent hovering over the second level node to access it. Here are…
